Staff Accountant

Tax Season Intern

Staff Accountant

The firm seeks to employ individuals who possess high levels of intelligence, integrity, honesty, motivation, and aptitude for the profession. The firm employs college graduates with a concentration in accounting as full-time permanent members of our professional staff. We seek individuals with strong communication skills, computer aptitude and analytical abilities.

Our office size provides staff with an excellent opportunity to experience many different areas of public accounting (audit, tax, consulting, etc). Our office size also allows for working directly with partners and to have direct client contact at an early stage of their career. We provide our staff with continuing education sponsored by national organizations. We also provide our staff with the required 120 hours of continuing education based on the AICPA requirements and the State Board of Accountancy. We assist our staff with obtaining their professional certifications. Staff will receive a pay increase upon passing the CPA exam.

Our firm ensures the latest technology is available to our staff. We work in an essentially paperless environment and have invested in an excellent paperless software system for audits and tax returns. We subscribe to on-line tax and audit research programs. We also have additional research software available.

We offer flexible scheduling, medical and dental insurance, group life insurance, two weeks paid vacation to start, one week of sick pay annually, a 401(k) plan and payment of professional society fees and dues.

Salaries are determined on an individual basis, with educational achievements, business experience, and other pertinent factors taken into consideration. Annual wage adjustments are made based upon the staff member's performance. Staff will also be involved in an extensive goal setting and professional development program. Each staff member has a development adviser to help guide them in their career and to set and achieve their professional goals.

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in Accounting, met the 150 credit hour requirement, eligible to sit for the CPA exam, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Please send cover letter and resume before October 1, 2007 to rcmtucson@rcmllp.com.

Tax Season Intern

The firm has an opening for an internship during Spring 2008. The position would be temporary from February through April 15th, 2008 with the possibility for full time employment upon graduation. Applicant should have an expected graduation date of spring or fall of 2008.

An intern will be involved in preparing tax returns as well as possible audit experience. You will be exposed to the same responsibilities that a full-time new staff person would experience and will receive hands-on training. We are seeking a student that enjoys challenging work and wants to put the skills they have learned in class to work. Our firm size offers an intern the opportunity to work directly with other staff as well as partners.

Salary will be determined on an individual basis, with educational achievements and any previous experience taken into consideration.

Please send cover letter and resume to rcmtucson@rcmllp.com.
